The Interreg V-A Slovakia - Hungary Cooperation Programme, SKHU/WETA/1901/1.1/029 - Pilgrimage Experiences in the Border Region – 1Úton International Pilgrimage Day for the Responsible Male Members of the Family.
In our country, the pilgrimages started from different places and were held on different routes. Here it is important to highlight the two sections that were "presented" during the pilgrimages organised in August 2020 within the framework of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme, project SKHU/WETA/1901/1.1/029 - Pilgrimage Experiences in the Border Region. The mentioned sections are Dorog - Péliföldszentkereszt and Esztergom - Márianosztra, and this year many new and experienced pilgrims have announced their intention to participate.
"The official invitations have not even gone out yet, but our leaders have already sent out a good advance notice that they have already signed up for the two new stages and would be happy to come, and we are of course very, very happy! After all, what better way to demonstrate the true community-building and community-creating power of the 1Úton International Pilgrimage Day. And, of course, we welcome everyone with great love for great-grandfathers, grandfathers, fathers and foster fathers, brothers and sisters, uncles, or any male member of the family who has a love for their family."
The 1Úton pilgrimage event was organised within the framework of the Interreg V-A Slovakia - Hungary Cooperation Programme, project SKHU/WETA/1901/1.1/029 Pilgrimage Experiences in the Border Region, in cooperation with Palást Municipality and Mária Út Public Benefit Association.
