The planned activities of the implementation have been implemented almost in full, the closure of the project depends on the decision of the Managing Authority.
Another professional trip to Slovakia took place within the framework of the project, this time the invited specialists met in Ipolyvisk. Contrary to preliminary plans, the series of professional trips ended with an event postponed to 14 October.
After a long preparation, a pilgrimage event joining the Pálos70 performance tour took place on the section of the route surveyed during the project between Kemence and Márianosztra, organized by the experts of Mária Út Public Benefit Association and the municipality of Palást on Sunday, 11 October 2020.
The Municipality of Palást has also started to organize its professional trips, the aim of which is to strengthen cooperation and start common thinking in order to develop tourism in the region.

An experienced expert group in the framework of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Program, Pilgrim Experiences in the Border Region, ID number SKHU / WETA / 1901 / 1.1 / 029, assessed and developed the optimal route and length of the routes to be explored, while registering the natural and cultural heritages involved.
One of the founding activities of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Program, Pilgrimage Experiences in the Border Region, ID number SKHU / WETA / 1901 / 1.1 / 029, was the optimization of walkable sections, GPS-based recording, and the definition of recommended sections.
The 1Úton International Pilgrimage Day, which will also be held in 2020, will be offered this year “for the physical and mental health of the world”.
Within the framework of the HUSK / WETA / 1901 / 1.1. / 029 project, 2 new sections in Slovakia and 2 new sections in Hungary were established, on which the one-day pilgrimage will be organized.
The 1Úton International Pilgrimage Day will be held again this year.
